OUR AIM IS TO ASSIST PARENTS IN LAYING A STRONG FOUNDATION OF BIBLICAL TEACHING FOR THE CHILDREN OF ALL SAINTS SO THEY ARE EQUIPPED AS DISCIPLES OF CHRIST TO PERSONALLY ENGAGE IN THE CHURCH, IN THE WORD, AND IN THE WORLD FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.

It is our joy and privilege to care for the covenant children God has entrusted to us and to point them to Jesus. The Children’s Ministry of All Saints is here to partner with parents and serve children, beginning in the nursery and continuing up to 5th grade.
You can read more about our vision for children's ministry here. We are so grateful for the chance to come alongside you and your family in this way and grow together!

Corporate Worship

We welcome children of all ages into our time of corporate worship, and especially encourage parents of preschoolers and kindergarteners to begin including their children in the service. We recognize both the blessing and the challenge of training children to engage in public worship. Our desire is to encourage and support parents of young children in this process.

Each week, we provide a Family Worship Guide based on the Sunday sermon text. Our pastors regularly address themselves to our children during their sermons. Our Sunday evening worship also includes a children’s lesson, where children of all ages are invited to come forward and sit in front of the Communion Table to hear from the pastor.

To hear more from our pastors and staff about why we include children in worship, why it matters, and how to do it well, check out this four-episode podcast series - Nursery of Faith. We hope and pray that as your children join us, they will experience the welcome of Christ and be blessed by the time of worship and hearing from God’s Word.

Nursery (Service & Sunday School)

nursery-bluesignOur nursery is open during the Sunday morning worship service as well as the Sunday School hour to help parents of infants and toddlers engage more fully in corperate worship. You may check-in or drop off your child starting at 8:50 am.

A rotation of teachers will lead the children in singing, read a Bible story, and teach the children's catechism (using music for memorization).

Sunday School Classes (10:30am - 11:20am)

Seeds of Faith
(Pre-K - 3rd Grade)
Teachers: Sarah Banks, Mary Ann Meiners,
Craig Mockmore, Allison Jacques, Isabel Stewart

Class will begin with a time of music for worship and Bible memorization. Then, using The Biggest Story Curriculum, teachers will tell a Bible story and lead the children in activities to reinforce the lesson. This curriculum will walk through the overarching narrative of the Bible and show how every story points to Christ.

These lessons coordinate with Kevin DeYoung’s The Biggest Story Storybook Bible and other resources available to be used at home. However, parents need to be aware that this Storybook Bible does include images portraying Jesus. These images will not be used in Sunday School and we will leave it up to parents as to whether they feel comfortable using these additional resources at home.

(4th & 5th Grade)
Teachers: Nathan McCall,
Liz Ross & Vaughn Spears

Pastor Nathan will teach this class covering content that corresponds with our vision for children’s ministry and utilizing the workbook Understanding the Faith by Stephen Smallman. Our goal is that this class would prepare the children to “graduate” from their children’s ministry years with a firm grasp on what we believe and how they can begin to engage in the church, in God’s Word, and in the world as disciples of Christ.

------------

Doors will open for Sunday School at 10:25 am.

* Please note: elementary children are not permitted to enter the Children’s Ministry Hallway or elementary classrooms until two volunteers are present and have opened the doors.

If your child is in 3rd grade or younger, please plan to pick them up from Sunday school as soon as adult Sunday school ends. Children in 4th and 5th grade will be released to find their parents at the end of the Sunday school hour unless parents specify that they prefer to pick them up from class.
